Gellarpox Units

Greetings All,

Now that we have been graced with CA 2018 and Kill Team Rogue Trader, has anyone used the Gellarpox forces in their DG army lists. If so how do they play/synergise with the Death Guard.

I've got them and now pairing them and I'm very tempted to play them in my army list, I'm not a competitive player, I just enjoy playing the game.

I am just coming back to 40k after a 7 month hiatus. How is kill team now? I see this box of nurgle worshippers specifically designed for kill team? Are they decent in that ruleset? There has been so many versions of kill team/ shadow wars, etc. over the years that I am confused which ruleset goes to what now. My time off is definitely geared more towards a quicker paced game.

I liked using them in Kill Team. I used a demolition specialist gellarpox mutant for the enhanced grenades, combined with teleporting. He was nasty.

I haven't tried them in 40k yet. I might do a for fun army of the Blackstone Fortress Chaos models with them. Possibly I'll use them in a Ld penalty based army, but that has it's own issues. Hopefully they will add more Gellerpox units or remove the limit per army / give larger unit sizes maybe in a Chaos Renegades Codex or a united Nurgle Codex and give them NURGLE as a faction. If I could use them in a NURGLE dettachment, I definitely would.

What are their special rules/stats? Can't seem to find them anywhere...

Their rules are in the Kill Team: Rogue Trader box.

I agree with the above, they are clearly made for Kill Team. GW Will make rules to use specialist games models in their core games, but they are never terribly good. It's the same with Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Underworlds. You can use the Warhammer Underworlds Warbands in Age of Sigmar, but they are not great.
