Dosjetka
INDEX ASTARTES: DEATH BOLTS CHAPTER NAME: .............. DEATH BOLTSFOUNDING: .................. 22ND [M.37]CHAPTER WORLD: ............. KELEKARFORTRESS MONASTERY: ........ <N/A>GENE-SEED (PREDECESSOR): ... ULTRAMARINES [PATRIARCHS OF ULIXIS]CURRENT STRENGTH: .......... 739 ASTARTES Divinators in the Imperial Courts on Terra had been gifted visions that pointed to renewed and increased instability in the Tanarollian Reef and, with this sector on the outer Segmentum Tempestus rim being home to a number of invaluable assets, the High Lords decreed that a Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes would be raised to reinforce the Reef's defensive forces. Thanks to the 22nd Founding already being underway and the relative urgency of the portents it was only two decades before the first elements of Chapter 738 set off with their training cadre to the cold frontier of Segmentum Tempestus. This select group of veterans and specialists was sourced from the Patriarchs of Ulixis, famed scions of Guilliman, under the overall command of Captain Rufus Khyber. As former commander of the 8th Assault Company he favoured immediate action over drawn-out planning and broadly encouraged personal initiative amongst his subordinates, and he instilled these values into the young neophytes. After two dozen smaller engagements that destabilised the more overt threats to the Tanarollian Reef, the young Chapter earned themselves not only a name and colours but also a planet from which they would forge the subsequent generations of warriors: Kelekar.Kelekar is a dry Feral World on the edge of the Tanarollian Reef, inhabited by roaming bands of humans and various packs of native fauna.Much like their founding Chapter Master Rufus Khyber, the Death Bolts excel at rapid strikes and heavily favour deployment via Drop Pod directly into the heart of the enemy. This has seen them advocate a greater use of the Thunderfire Cannon and Dreadnought chassis as support weapon platforms due to them being deployable in the same manner as the Chapter's infantry. As a direct consequence of this preference, the Death Bolts' armoury has fewer Rhino-based vehicles than most Space Marine Chapters.Though not as strict adherents as many other Chapters sired by the Ultramarines or their Primogenitors, the Death Bolts have espoused the organisational tenets laid down in the Codex Astartes.Due to their relative isolation, the Chapter's cult has seen reverence of Primarch Guilliman fade. Instead the Emperor of Mankind is the central, and many would say only, focus of their loyalty and devotion. They see the Emperor as an exceptional man who emerged in exceptional circumstances to defend Mankind from the enroaching darkness and not as a god.As successors of the Patriarchs of Ulixis, the Death Bolts inherited pure gene-samples and continue to rigorously maintain this purity lest dishonour and shame befall them."Swift death to His foes!" Draakur
Super direct and to the point thus far - something I can appreciate! Looking good. While obviously brief, the writing flows well so far.
