Question what the exact wording on the relic axe. Is it on a 6. Add d3 mortal wounds. Or is it for every wound roll of 6 change the dam to d3 mortals

 

It changes, thats why im mild on it. I believe one of the ork relics is "in addition to".

so the wording on the ability is

"

ABILITY:

If the Wound Roll for an Attack made by this weapon is an unmodified 6, The Target Model Suffers D3 mortal wounds instead of the Normal damage."

 

That means if you roll a 6*, then the D3 dam you inflict becomes mortal wounds D3.

and that works for EVERY attack made by this weapon that you roll a nat 6, you do mortal wounds instead of standard damage?

 

 

also reading saga of the savage, it seems the Thunderwolfs +3 attacks wont actually proc the deed of legend?

Yea thats correct about the weapon damage.

 

It's odd, but the thunderwolf is basically treated as a separate weapon so would definitely count towards the deed.
