4K Questoris Knights!

Recommended Posts

Hello!,

Quite new to 30k, but a friend of mine has dragged me in and since I have way too many knights I thought it sounded like a grand idea.

We’ve played a few smaller scale games but we wanted to rock a biggy to ring in the new year. And to convince me I need more knights probably.

We’ll be playing a 4K game, and have agreed to spread the points (unevenly) across two armies each. He will be running Iron Warriors and Sons of Horus and I’ll be running two knight detachments. I’m not yet sure which I’m more afraid of.

On to the fun stuff!

Force 1!

Seneschal Atrapos

-Occular

Scion Martial Warden

-Occular, Gatling, Sword

Scion Martial Styrix

-Occular, Siege Claw

Scion Arbalester Crusader

-Occular, Meltagun, Stormspear, Thermal

Force 2!

Seneschal Lancer

-Occular

Scion Martial Warden

-Occular, Gatling, Sword

Scion Uhlan Acheron

-Occular

Preceptor Gallant

-Occular, Fist, Sword

Arbalester Crusader

-Occular, Thermal, Gatling, Stormspear

4000 on the money!

So I think I have most things covered with some anti-infantry, tank, and some anti-air/deepstrike, but I could be wrong!

The Questoris are magnetized though so I can swap around as needed.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I think that you're about as setup for that kind of matchup as you can be. The amount of rending and thermal cannons you have should set you up as well as can be for 2+ saves and legion armor. This should let you strip primarchs of their bodyguards and hit them directly, where your D weapons can actually matter. Good luck.

Thanks for the response!

It actually went quite badly.

We increased the game to 4500 so that I could bring some armigers.

Iron Fire on turn 1!

I had two immobilized armigers, and three wounded knights left.

Turn 2 I had no knights left. My outflanking Acheron was the only one to survive since he didn’t actually make it to the table!
