Info about Valhalla

Hi there,

two questions:

Is credible a regiment from Valhalla which is stick with mud and not Snow?

Where I can find more information about Valhallan than the few that I can find on the book, or 1D4chan?

I'd say that mud isn't an issue. Even assuming a winter like conditions, which isn't where all Vahallan battles are fought, mud will definitely get everywhere. If you've driven on roads with snow, you've probably gotten muddy on the exterior of your car.

The best source of stuff I’ve come across for Valhalla is the Ciaphas Cane books. They’re not brimming with detail about it but they do give you the odd snippet.

 

Although Valhalla is an ice world, I’d agree with HallofStovokor in that mud is perfectly feasible for them to be fighting on.

 

Can I ask why you want mud particularly? I only ask because the GW Valhallan Blizzard texture paint looks great on bases and is really easy to use, just in case it was the idea of painting snow that putting you off :)

Because I had about 120 soldiers in putties, great coat, gas masks and british brody helmet: 120 WWI style british guardsmen. Swapping the heads I will got 120 muddy Valhallan...

Do regiments usually choose where they would like to wage war in His name?

I don't believe they do but Imperial Command may select Regimental deployment based at least partially on home/training worlds to make best use of specialties, Warp and urgency providing.
