Shading Bugman's Glow - seeking advice

I've painted the flayed skin here with Bugman's Glow and highlighted with Cadian Fleshtone. I'm a little unsure what wash to use for shading. Agrax Earthshade? 1990's Flesh Wash? Something reddish? I'd appreciate any suggestions or experience please.

I usually basecoat with bugmans - flesh shade wash- and then highlight with cadian afterwards.

You could probably skip shading, if you do another highlight, of like kislev flesh or something if you already did a highlight already.

Usually, I do highlights after the basecoat.

Make yourself a nice thin wash with Doombull Brown which is a nice terracotta type shade. And then use that in the recesses if you want it to look fresh.

Or you could use some green in with the Doombull Brown to make it look a bit less savoury, also some pale greens and purples to the edges.

Thank you both for the suggestions. I love the idea of mixing some Doombull Brown with greens and purples, but that's not the colour palette I'm working with here. I'll remember that one for the next time I'm painty something manky.

I went for killersquid's Kislev Flesh highlight and I'm very pleased with it. At some point I'll start posting my finished Blackstone Fortress models in the Hall of Honour.
