So how's the view from top of that mountain, StatusJoe? That was one helluva climb. I was pretty sure you'd make your goal, but I can't believe you delivered it 18 days early! Heroic journey!

 

Corax looks awesome. I like that he's got his Primarch bling on, but you still made him look subdued as is appropriate for his fading into the background trick. Nice work! :tu:

 

And yeah, I'll see you at ETL. As soon as I finish this consul I'll be focused on planning, building, and priming for that.

@StatusJoe, dude, bravo. Seriously just exceptional drive mate. Definitely getting the King of Loyalty and Trechery for this'n, as that's just ludicrous and in the best way possible. My absolute highest regards, I just can't say it enough. I'm awed my man, just awed.

Trokair, that is absolutely awesome too. Heh, kinda love it. There's something about it really looking like the STC for a subterranean exploratory vehicle from the first expansions. It's a really cool idea for a macrocarid, I might have to think about something like that for Iron Warriors exploration groups with Termites too.

Alright, leeeeets see. Just getting the metals on Alfy and the last Centurion but I did something still 30K related.

But I do have a question for ya lovely lot: I kinda need an opinion for a Praetor for Sons of Horus that's almost done. I need a head option, and I'm kinda at a loss.

Thank you Vykes, go right ahead. I had originally intended the rock grinder parts to sit in the space where the assault ramp is (a bit like the armored Proteus heavy bolter) and have the Dozer blade out in front. However the Rock grinder parts proved a little too wide and I did not trust my ability to cut into the rounded sections to make it fit. Instead I eventually flied the Land raiders orientation and doubled upon the Dozer plate. I also used the internal engine plate on the outside just to cover the gab where the ramp would have been.  

 

As for the Praetor head, One or Two. I think it very much depends on where you want to emphasis of the models movement.

 

 

Lord Ranulf, looking so good there. The effect on the sword where it enters that poor Iron Hand is a nice touch.

You know, I do like the effect that the reversed hull has, Trokair. The whole thing blends really well and it looks unique but still definitely STC. Flipping the interior engine plate to the exterior is pretty genius in keeping a guide and making it look even more Mechanicum aligned. Seriously good idea there!

Thanks a ton Lord Ranulf, dude, that's a killer Praetor. Jealousy, thy name is Vykes. -laughs- And I feel more glee than I should at seeing an Iron Warrior... they caused me much consternation a few weeks back. Seriously spectacular work.

Well, mine's still very much WIP but I'm down to just two, now. Hopefully done tomorrow or the day after! Gotta decide if I want Dynat on his display base or if he should be on one of the fitting ad mech sandy ones like the Catii. Same question on Alfy there, too.

-laughs- thanks dude.  It wasn't too hard.  Alpha Legion metallics are neeeeaaaaaat because the inks and washes do a ridiculous amount of work with that texture.  

 

I still want to do some proper aqua coloured ones, so yeah. Gonna try that for ETL I think.

@Richmarine, I know others have mentioned it but I have to repeat it. The blue on your Ultramarines is really impressive. It's the nicest I've ever seen.
