Yeah, the Knights... That yellow, it's very difficult for me... :sad.:

Have you tried an offwhite start -> white zenithals (or I guess a fine drybrush if you have no airbrush) -> brown panel lines -> glaze of lamenters yellow -> edges with dorn yellow if there are any?

 

That's how I do my Legio Gryphonicus and House Coldshroud yellow!

Cap, now there’s a Knight vow can I add my 2 Cerastus Lancers to my vow? They’re in my start picture anyway. Always wanted to be a Baron


Of course you can! The Knight and Titan vow are disconnected, meaning that if you fail on one, you may still obtain the title for the other.

I will bite on pledge one...one titan by April, what could possibly go wrong? ( I am so going to become a servitor!)

Now I assume you'll go for Legio Cascadia, but let us know what class of Titan you'll be doing and (optionally) if you have a name for it! :)

Well had to take a lot of time off the hobby but now I am back. 

 

During my time off I reconsidered my Legio Choice but not my pledge.

 

Captain Semper do you mind to change it to the following?

 

Legio: Legio Astorum

Godmachine: Invictorus

 

Oh and well, here is a little picture of it after the airbrush stage... next will be brush work for non steel coloured metal, the trims and so on.

             Reaver- Terminus Stellas (Stars End)

Amazing looking Knights! :ohmy.: This are great miniatures - and the possibility is surprising! And the transfers really help to make the great paintjob pop! How did you do the glowing effect on the shields?

Thank you, Cap! I'm happy I have those FW Makabius transfer sheets, the color iconography and heraldry really helps sell the scale. The glowing effect is done the same as my Plasma, just concentrating more on the blue and less the white. It goes something like this:

 

Base Sotek Green

Wash with undiluted Drakenhof Nightshade

Drybrush Temple Guard Blue

Drybrush Lothern Blue

Drybrush Pallid Wych Flesh

 

Each one is concentrated more and more on the center, with the Wych Flesh barely applied at all.

Great stuff! If you have an (the) other Warhound you can go for an Axiom Maniple and for Task 3 - Princeps Majoris! :)

 

You don’t have to commit right now, just think about it!

I painted the other Warhound before this challenge started. Was planning on adding a 3rd and 4th warhound to the collection, might do it after this batch if I have the time to do so.

 

The tanks are nice, hoping to homebrew some AT rules for them.

Great. I have updated the first page to show your additional Reaver and the Knights in the Knight section. I just wish you could squeeze another Titan there (any kind) to qualify for the Princeps Majoris title! :)

 

BTW, have you decided on the Knights' House?
