2. Originally unknown. In his fluff banner I linked it to a situation where he was ordered into a suicidal assault with no chance of success to test his loyalty and ability to survive. The assault fails, but he manages to survive and for his loyalty is promoted to Equerry. The 'disgrace' is a mocking reference to how that assault failed, even though it was never meant to succeed.

6. Related to seas or oceans.

12. Not sure, I was always taught to use them in lists. Looking it up, it seems they're used to override commas when one is present as part of an item in the list.

Other edits have been made.

Worth doing. I wonder if Borrao might merit Great Warrior status rather than Hennasohn. Actually, are there any canon Legions where those types aren't a First Captain? Besides I think Alajos.

Khârn is 8th Captain, I'm not sure Gabriel Santor is a Great Warrior, pretty sure there are better contestants for the title in the Emperor's Children than Julius Kaesoron.

[Designs of the Impure Prince] has a word count of 3,653 words.

Double-checking the total count...

  • The Under-Worlder and the Over-Worlder - 1124 words
  • Dare - 567 words
  • Preparations - 1,765
  • Drowned Men - 1,239 words
  • Lights in the Fog - 849 words

We're at 8,073 words now, and I'm going to tweak Designs a little bit before I'm satisfied. I believe Beren said his latest story is well over 2,000 words, which means the Drowned have passed the necessary word count.

Also, either Slips or Blunt still need to select the stories for the Scion anthology.

Iron Bears' line-up....

  • Of Bears and Predators - 5,201 words
  • Warsong - 2,786 words
  • A Proper Depiction - 1,233 words
  • The Gatekeepers of Progress - 1,712 words
  • War-Tales - 2,703 words
  • Ritual Union - 730 words
  • Laeran - 2,761 words

So, the big problem is that Blunt likes to write about legions mixing it up with the Bears. Which makes it really confusing on how to label them since he keeps things a bit too balanced. The 'clean' stories adds up to 9,000 words, which is just a thousand shy. I suppose since the Scions have so many options, we could utilize Laeran without qualm.

We need to double check the use of the term Devastators in the story Warsong. I also noted a few corrections that needed to be made in War-Tales, though I'm not sure if Griff already has the story or not.

Ar'assa appears in a story?

Well, I give the name of Primarch's even when they're mentioned in passing (if anything it's more necessary then) so I was just following a similar logic.

As for the Godslayers:

Setting up the Godslayers' anthology.

  • A Terrible Weight - 437 words (may add more to it).
  • The Terran Way - 4162 words (needs to be edited)
  • Liberators - 448 words
  • A Cordial Welcome - 1109 words (needs to be cleaned up)

It's not as bad as I thought it was, but mostly because Beren's The Terrible Way provides quite a bit of lift. At 6,156 words, the Godslayers' anthology is halfway there.
