Riddle Me This: Primaris Apothecary in GW SW Options?

Hello all.

So, per the title, riddle me this: why is the Primaris Apothecary available in the Games Workshop Space Wolves section?

https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Warhammer-40-000?N=2562756967+1333676667&Nr=AND%28sku.siteId%3AUS_gw%2Cproduct.locale%3Aen_US_gw%29&Nrs=collection%28%29%2Frecord%5Bproduct.startDate+%3C%3D+1547725860000+and+product.endDate+%3E%3D+1547725860000%5D&Ns=sku.price%7C0&view=all

I am honestly curious.

I certainly would use them given the chance, the problem is, do we have access to the Primaris Apothecary from the Index: Imperium 1?

Hm...

Why are the Primaris load outs so static? You get option XYZ, or option ABC, not these options for this arm and these options for the other. Odd...?

You can find that discussion all over the forum. I think the most agreed on theory is those loadouts have models and they are keeping things locked to what has a model, YMMV though.

This.

Its the same reason we lost WG Bikers and the other units we did and got the generic Scout template. Models dont exist for any of that and for some weird reason GW doesnt want me to buy 4 kits to make bikers. *shrug*

See I was going to argue that if Primaris Wolf Priest and Rune Priest had more options they would be OP in the sense that there would be no reason to take the normal variants. So for a few points more the Primaris versions have more attacks and more wounds.

It is probably just an error from the web people at GW, probably the same persons who are responsible for the FW page. Last time I looked Heavy quad launcher battery is not something that is standard in Space wolf lists. We can't expect that a small firm like GW can have a modern, up to date and user-friendly web-shop page in 2019, Just to be clear I am being sarcastic.

The pr-department at GW, I guess that the same persons who are responsible for the pr are also responsible for the web pages (I expect that they are still stuck in some sort of 1990 organisation model) really have to step up their game soon, today companies must be pro-active and not reactive as GW are. They must start to do pr, the word to mouth pr that they have had since the beginning is not ok for a company as large as GW is, and also stop doing minor errors on their pages, which the Apotechary is. A company like GW should be using the internet even more than they are, sponsor twitch-streamers who are either doing the hobby, or when a computer game is about to be released or even is popular, like Blood-bowl. Battlefleet Gothic armada 2 was just released, I have seen barely nothing about it, I know that is not GW who have created it, but it was another lost opportunity for them milking the cow. This is just one example that makes them look amateurish, and for a company who has been around for so long it is just sad.

Sorry for the rant.

Speaking as an IT person, what you have to remember is all changes to the data that drives these pages have to be performed by an IT person, well no IT person is cheap and with the frequency that GW update the Codex, FAQ and any other publication that makes unit "X" legal/illegal you would have someone who's being paid £30k PA to do almost pointless updates.  GW works from the point of view that you, the buyer knows what you want to buy.

Perfection in any IT system is impossible, close to perfection takes time and a lot of money, so why bother?  You don't take to the streets when Google or FB show you a post that is not relevant to you.
