Pvnisher
Hello everyone was wondering if anyone knew what the correct symbols are suppose to be on the right shoulder pad. I’m assuming it’s just numbers? No double arrows? I like to stick with gw uses so any help is appreciated. shandwen
Most of the emblems (such as the double arrow) identify what the squad is, and with scouts it's not really important. I can't actually remember ever seeing much more than the X for tenth co. on the in-store side before, but I'm sure at some point GW has had something more "exotic" for them. shabbadoo
Dark Angels don't use Roman numerals, and besides, Scout Armor itself is what denotes a 10th Company member. The right shoulder pad has the squad number. Seldom do you see a good pic of it in the GW stock photos, but it is there. There are slightly smaller sword and wing decals on one decal sheet, and I think there might be smaller numbers on that same sheet, which would be for the Scout Squads. Been a long time since I looked at one, so I can't recall, and I can't find a pic online. Could be the Scout Bikers decal sheet (which reminds me that I "need" to finally buy some Scout Bikers, because they look cool). Also, this is one of the Codex Astartes features that the Dark Angels chose to keep. Pvnisher
Ok so just numbers it is. It is really hard to find pics on this. I saw what looked like and old drawing of a sgt and all he had was a red number. Thanks. JJD
I remembed that the 7th Ed codex has an art work section with quite specific colour schemes and markings for pretty much everything in the DA range at that time. Unfortunately when I doug it out it had everything but scouts. The art work that accompanied the scouts section had the chapter symbol on the right shoulder whilst the left was out of view. The only thing I did notice was that the 10th company marking is just a green background with no markings. Pvnisher
I think it is just a number wish I had a box laying around. I looked online and it looks like the dark angel on the back has just a number.
