StraightSilver
Apologies if this is: A - A daft question B - covered elsewhere C - In the wrong section... I finally got to have a look at Urban Conquest last night and the rulebook makes mention of using "Cities of Death Tactical Objective Cards" rather than referencing them from the rule book.I always prefer to use actual cards but as far as I know these don't exist for 8th Edition? Am I missing something? Probably but just checking..... Tyriks
Are those not the cards that came in the box? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353304-urban-conquest-cities-of-death-tactical-objective-cards/#findComment-5239706 Share on other sites
StraightSilver
No, unless my copy is missing them? It's supposed to be, as far as I can tell, a set of Tactical Objective cards but with specific Cities of Death Objectives in. That's not listed in the contents of the box either. Panzer
There is no mention of Tactical Objective cards in the description on the webshop either. No clue what its talking about. Maybe ask GW directly per mail. StraightSilver
Cool, cheers everybody, I'm not going mad then. For reference it's page 76 of the Urban Conquest rule book. It's not the end of the world as the objectives are listed in the book, I just find having the cards much easier as I hate having to remember which Tac Objectives should be swapped out. I'll get in touch with GW. It might actually be an error, quite a lot of the rules from Urban Conquest are actually copy and pasted from the original Cities of Death book, lol. Panzer
One possible explanation would be that they planned to release such cards as well but it got either delayed or they scratched the idea for some reason but forgot to edit the text. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. It's still a great set though, I just like to have cards for everything. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353304-urban-conquest-cities-of-death-tactical-objective-cards/#findComment-5239809 Share on other sites
Panzer
Same. ^^ I still have to buy the set so I only have a digital version from a 'friend' for now though. GW is kinda overwhelming me with all the releases at the moment. I still have to buy Blackstone Fortress and Vigilus 1 as well lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353304-urban-conquest-cities-of-death-tactical-objective-cards/#findComment-5239811 Share on other sites
StraightSilver
Yeah, my pile of unbuilt plastic is now bigger than me, lol. I had planned to stick to Kill Team as I had enough 40K stuff but that train has no brakes, 40K seems relentless release wise and all my gaming time seems to be spent on Blackstone Fortress....If I didn't buy another thing I'd still not live long enough to paint what I have.I kinda miss the old days when it would be months between releases and most of the models were hit and miss..... lol. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353304-urban-conquest-cities-of-death-tactical-objective-cards/#findComment-5239865 Share on other sites
