firestorm40k
Hi, I've searched on here and elsewhere, but can't find any images indicating a size comparison between those Blackstone Fortress Chaos Marines, and the current Raptor miniatures. I'm thinking of using both to make a Kill Team (seeing as the Raptors will give me access to special weapons without having to carve up the BSF CSM), but if the scale is out, I think I'll leave it and wait for new CSM kits. It's not just the height, but the 'bulk' - would the Raptor figs look to 'scrawny' next to the BSF CSM? Thanks in advance for any help! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353392-blackstone-fortress-csm-raptor-minis-size-comparison/ Share on other sites
Doom Herald
I took a picture for you, but my phone doesn't want to work for uploads right now. I'll upload via computer later today when I get the chance. They don't look too far off to me though, Raptors have a little more bulk to them than the old CSM in my opinion. DiscipleOfTheWord
If you have the models available then do you know how they compare to normal space marines? (Not CSM) I've been thinking of starting a Red Corsairs army with the new CSM models but I want to be able to include some 'recent renegades' using normal SM helmets and the like, as well as raptor parts mostly for the chainswords which I reckon the new CSM box set might not have. That's just my gut feeling though.
