Claws and Effect
How close is the darker one to Waaagh Flesh? Thinking of using it to base coat my Salamanders, but if it's not reasonably close to what I'm already using I'll figure something else out. Not sure why they haven't released the primary color of an entire faction as a spray, to be honest. I dont know what it compares to with the new Citadel line, but it is a perfect match to the old Dark Angel Green. Arkhanist
Army painter was fairly close to the previous citadel paint line, so it's less close to the current one. Angel green is a duplicate of Dark Angel green, which is fairly close to caliban green - it's a cold green. It's not a million miles from waaagh flesh, but doesn't have that slight fleshy undertone. Army painter Greenskin is closer in tone, but lighter than waaargh flesh. They've only done a fraction of their paints as sprays, same as GW. If you have a lot of Salamanders to basecoat, that's the sort of thing that drives people to get an airbrush - it did me!
