the emperor is scottish
Morning folks Wanted to know if anyone has a nice recipe for dark or lacquered red or even a dark lacquered red. One technique i've been given so far is khorne red washed in the recess and edges with agrax then washed all over with the gloss nuln oil. However without the paints to attempt this i cant validate how good or bad it may be. Any help you guys provide would be great. DamnedProphet
You could try something like this: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/322436-duskraiders-word-bearers/?do=findComment&comment=4395682 Frater DuskRaider was able to create something of a dark laquered red with the following formula: Thanks! The red is done using Blood for the Blood God in multiple thin layers over a Leadbelcher base w/ Runefang Silver highlight. It's later lightly washed w/ Baal Red (or whatever the new wash is called) to bring down the gloss.
