Holier Than Thou
I remember a few years back seeing either a Daemon Prince or a Tyranid big thing, modelled to show it having just torn apart a Space Marine Dreadnought. It had the remains from inside the sarcophagus in it's hand/claw and the Dreadnought was on the ground dead. Can anyone remember this and help me find a picture of it? Want to use the idea for my Daemon Prince of Khorne. Thanks in advance. Canadian_F_H
I do remember it. I think it's quite old now. And I think it was a demon. Been a while since I saw it. Holier Than Thou
I think it might have been in an old Chaos Codex but not 100%. Captain_Krash
I do remember this. It was a Golden Deamon piece it was specifically in a 200's white dwarf issue. I do not remember what issue currently though...I have it but don't have access. It was an awesome conversion. I googled many, many variations of "Daemon Prince Dreadnought" and couldn't find it. Lay
It's in Codex: Chaos Space Marines 3.5, page 80: "Daemon Prince destroying Dreadnought, painted by French Golden Demon 2001 award winner Jerome Manouvrier" http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Codex:_Chaos_Space_Marines_(3rd_Edition,_2nd_Codex) http://demonwinner.free.fr/france/2001/golden_demon_winner.php?categorie=7#1st Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353481-can-anyone-remember-this-conversion/#findComment-5244570 Share on other sites
Mendi Warrior
I immediately pictured the piece. Personally, my first reflex for this is typically to try the Stuff of Legends repository. There are quite a few older catalogues there. Here is a link with the daemon ripping open the dreadnought, it was a winner of the 2001 French Golden Demon, reproduced in the 2004 catalogue. http://solegends.com/citcat2004us/c2004usp0092-01.htm Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353481-can-anyone-remember-this-conversion/#findComment-5244575 Share on other sites
