Trokair
I am working on a conversion project for an army that is going to be Mechanicus themed but using spacewolf rules. I am looking for a suitable Stormshield and thought the Secutarii Hoplites might do but I am finding it hard to judge its size just from the picture on the FW website. Do any of you have experience with the shield, or have one spare that you could do a comparison photo with? Thank you. DanPesci
I suppose it depends what you are putting them onto? They are pretty much toe to shoulder height on the hoplites (which are vanguard models). Thats actually quite tall (although its a thinner profile), and I would think easily tall enough to also serve as a storm shield on a space marine (although it'll be a thinner profile). As a player who owens both space wolf and admech armies, am very interested to hear what your plans are for modelling :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353556-secutarii-hoplites-shield-size/#findComment-5246997 Share on other sites
