Hantheman
So new models on their way! https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/02/08/8th-feb-lvo-studio-preview-2019-revealed-new-chaos-space-marines-sisters-of-battle-and-moregw-homepage-post-1/ Now that new Librarian model looks a hell of a lot like a primaris Ezekiel... shabbadoo
Sure, the model is Ezekiel-ish, but it is an Ultramarine Vanguard Librarian, with two eyes. Looks like all the Vanguard Primaris wear the same armor as Reivers do. I was just mentioning how GW should have done Reiver snipers in another thread, and POOF! There they are, like magic! They even have "sniper carbines" (I swear I knew nothing of these, or of anything related to them). They look good, and no "scary" skull masks on anything...so far. I'll probably get this campaign set, but likely just as much for the now better styled Chaos Space Marines models. Like I need any more models at all, but at least these sorts of sets are a good value. jbaeza94
I love the guys! They look cool. Od get them just for that. Im at a point right now where o want cool minis, i dont care much for rules Fluff wise, my chapter was already split into 2 cohorts. All my primaris moving forward will be cohort ferrum (black shoulders) With my old marines staying cohort leonus (red shoulders). Im glad my new counts as azrael is a primaris with older marks blended in. It fits the theme. SigBjorn
i have a sence that it will include a new Vehicle or transport for the primaris... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353706-new-primaris/#findComment-5251586 Share on other sites
The_son_of_Dorn
Never shall I abandone my Space marine MKI for pure MKII. It's either a combined army with some well established plastic robe flare or none at all! In all serious I like alot of elements o. That librarian. Just not the leather gloves or vest thingy. Why dress for gardening when your going to war and there is a set of power plated knuckle dusters available as standard? aura_enchanted
The librarian looks more like turmiel in primaris then Ezekiel. But it's easy to get the two confused so I don't blame you Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353706-new-primaris/#findComment-5251624 Share on other sites
lhavoc
Still, secret covert operations force led by a Librarian? Is this a good theme for where Primaris Marines go when they know too much? Would be an interesting follow-up to that horrible “War of Secrets” novel. This could be a place to put the characters from that novel after they are inducted into the pseudo not-quite “Inner Circle”.
