Tankus Wokus
Hi Guys, Looking for some opinions on whether these units are viable for Death Guard. Land Raider clocks in at around 300 while the spartan is 477. Do these units do enough to justify their points or would the points be better spent elsewhere? Many Thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353918-land-raiders-spartans/ Share on other sites
happyslugger
I have a LR for my DG...can't remember the last time I used it. That being said I'm up against my son's Tau tomorrow...might be saying otherwise following that battle :-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353918-land-raiders-spartans/#findComment-5257807 Share on other sites
Gederas
My ONLY issue with Land Raiders or Spartans for Death Guard: The dudes inside it tend to be more durable to firepower than the tank itself. :lol:Points-wise, they're very good for their points now, but it's just the issue of the Marines having better durability than the tank. Which.... Isn't too much of an issue, but if you want the tank to ferry dudes around it constantly, it is. Tankus Wokus
My thinking was to use the Spartan to supplement the Death Guard's lack of anti tank Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353918-land-raiders-spartans/#findComment-5258022 Share on other sites
DemetriiTZ
Blight Launchers are fine anti-tank. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/353918-land-raiders-spartans/#findComment-5258030 Share on other sites
