Horus Heresy Book 8: Malevolence

Can't wait for this. Intrigued in how it reads given the sad change in the heresy team. Daemons will be great as well.

Haven't seen it mentioned but I would love some new standard missions. Ours are really stale now, and seeing how 40k and aos get updated missions via chapter approved makes me a bit jealous.

Each black book has its own set of missions in them so this one should have unique missions that are akin to the fluff in the book

I'm getting the feeling there may some confusion here. People's orders have been confirmed apparently, but who has actually been told copies are shipping?

Can we see a link to what this Fellhanded guy said?

Ok - so I've had that exact same email. It's not a shipping confirmation email, it's a generic "You've placed an order with us, here's your order reference number and confirmation of your purchase" email that you get when you place an order. It may state generic delivery timelines, but those are for products that are already in the warehouse - and at the Weekender the FW guys were telling us this would be March.

I will be phoning FW tomorrow morning, because my order isn't actually linked to my FW account, and I'll be sure to ask for an updated delivery schedule. If this is all we're basing books being shipped out on then I think we're all going to be very disappointed.

But they sent this email only now, why not do it right after Weekender?

If this is the case, then I was mistaken.

Ill make the proper correction in the OP.

To be fair, it is very confusing, I totally understand why this guy would think his book is underway, because it actually says FW "will ship within 24 hours".

But with FW you always need to ask 3-5 more questions before you actually get a real answer as to what is happening.

Will be interested to hear what they told you.

Just got off the phone with FW, and pretty much what I was expecting. Those are definitely order confirmations and not delivery confirmations. No updates on the shipping timelines given at the Weekender (I.e. March), but delivery confirmations will be sent out when they do actually ship.
