Beatnik cryptek
I was watching an ep of the old Avengers series (John Steed and Emma Peel) called "silent dust" and it just occurred to me that silent dust would make a great title for some necron story if anyone's looking for a title. Bjorn Firewalker
When I looked up "Silent Dust" on Wikipedia, I found an article on a 1949 British drama, set in World War II's aftermath. More details are needed. Wikipedia's list of The Avengers episodes describes the plot of Silent Dust as: Rural villains hold the British government to ransom with a devastating new biological weapon; our heroes join the hunt. What kind of idea do you have in mind? Biological weapons obviously don't work on the Necrons- unless Nurgle uses them as a conduit for Warpcraft, the latter of which DOES affect Necrons. I personally doubt the Necron Lords will bother with biological weapons, when gauss weapons and other "direct methods" are more obvious ways to express Necron supremacy over all other races. Tyriks
Sounds like Necrons fighting Thousand Sons. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/354008-silent-dust/#findComment-5261852 Share on other sites
Beatnik cryptek
Yeah in the background it's clear the TS give the necrons some problems. I was thinking it might be a theme for a necron tomb complex, not to mention what's left of the victims of the necrons. It just sounds necron-y.
