Ishagu
So I saw this in a store today and decided to pick it up. I don't imagine it will take long to read, but I feel I need to see what it's about and just how accurate it is to the setting. No hyperbole, no bias. I shall share my thoughts. Rob P
I'm going to read this (or the other one that will not be mentioned on this forum) with my son - it will be interesting to see how it is presented. Kelborn
I'm going to read this (or the other one that will not be mentioned on this forum) with my son - it will be interesting to see how it is presented. Keep me posted. I'm curious if those might be a thing when my son is old enough. Ishagu
I'm only a few pages in as I had find other things to do. Things I like: It has little blurbs about the characters, weapons, some stuff about the world, all with pictures included at the back of the book. Reminds me of an old game manual Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/354020-attack-of-the-necron/#findComment-5261176 Share on other sites

Izlude
I just got it in the mail. I think this is potentially great to get kids into the world. My 7 y/o son knows how much I love this warhammer world with the books and minis, so this is a great way to get him into it. I quickly flipped via it and love the "glossary" in the back, probably color it with him. Malios
Here's the million dollar question though: Does David Tenant read it better then you? (ie to audiobook or not?) Plasmablasts
Any further thoughts on this? My son’s 9th birthday is this month so I’m wondering if this might be worth getting him. Claws and Effect
My son is 8 and loves it. It definitely helps that Necrons are one of the armies he plays. Yes, he plays already and knows the rules better than a lot of the adults in our local meta. Mostly because his daily reading time that he does for school credit is usually a codex or a rulebook.
