Montford
What would you take in a battle against Dark Angels? Not asking for a list, just what Units and / or artifacts. I have not played against them since 7th Ed and I'll have a game against them soon. Last time I played against them, my Repressors loaded with Flamers did insane amounts of work, while my bottlers and meltas did nothing. Mekhitar
Hilariously, I just played an ITC game against a friend of mine who fielded dark angels!Immolators are very good because they have the speed to keep up with the bikes and keep putting out damage. Also, the flamers don't care about the dark angel ability to stack -1 to hit (darkshroud, fliers, etc) and just automatically hit anyway.Exorcists are pretty nice, because Dark Angels vehicles don't have any invulns. And again, the range lets you keep hitting things that run.Their anti tank consists of bikes with plasma or hellblasters (the 2 primary kinds of Dark Angel lists are a bunch of Ravenwing bikes or a big castle around azrael) - they have a strat that makes the plasma 3 DMG instead of 2, so use your smoke launchers, or keep a good 4++ bubble on your tanks. They have a lot of bikes - Celestine and Penitent engines (2 dmg / 3 dmg weapons) that one-shot those bikes are also good. I got 2 penitent engines into his bike and landspeeder line on the same turn and they all disappeared. The talonmaster (lieutenant on a landspeeder) gives an ignores-cover bubble, so if your opponent takes one, don't bother with prepared positions.Good luck!
