Started this suggestion as a bit of light trolling but thinking about it, the Evil Dead trilogy is a good fit...

Slaanesh-flavoured main character trapped to repeat his fate over and over, thinking he's won to have victory taken from him at the last moment? - Sounds Just-as-planned by sadistic director who takes pleasure in

"torturing" his lead actors through the filming

 

Over the top gore and a chainsaw bonded arm? BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!
