Rules confirmation ...primaris lieutenants and plasma pistol

Subject says it all. I just scoured my Codex Space Marines, Blood Angel Codex, and my Dark Angel Codex, as well as all the appropriate errata .... its only Dark Angel Primaris Lieutenants that can be equipped with plasma pistols correct?

Unfortunate, but correct.

 

If it's any consolation, they did release the Captain with Plasma Pistol and Power Fist at some time, maybe it'll be a Lieutenant with a Plasma Pistol for all Chapters to take one day?
