Montford Posted March 15, 2019 Share Posted March 15, 2019 I was making a full inventory of my Space Marines and I found one I had modded to make an Imperial Space Marine, which I found in the Index: Imperium 1. And I realized I have no idea what an Imperial Spacxe Marine is actually supposed to be, lore-wise. I honestly don't recall ever coming across that term other than in the Index. The model Iron Father Ferrum is thinking of is the miniature for the 25th anniversary of Rogue Trader. The disintegration guns arent bad, they’ve got d3 damage I believe. It was a fun model to build and paint, if a tad expensive (I purchased the 30USD 30th anniversary model). I don’t recall well how he did. When I play marines nowadays I play my armory list (tanks, dreads, and intercessors) so he unfortunately doesn’t get to see the field much (a third of my army PL in land raiders tends to do that). He was HILARIOUS in that one because his disintegration weapons were ridiculously strong.Haven't used him in 8th yet, but I found him and he got a strip and will be joining my Dark Angels. Might use him in a game if I have the points to spare. Panzer Posted March 16, 2019 Share Posted March 16, 2019 There was basically nobody who didn't use him in 7th if they could since you could just replace a basic Bolter Tactical Marine with this guy for no additional cost so you'd get a special weapon for free and without taking up the actual special weapon slot. Was wondering how I could incorporate him into the Space Marine army since he no longer has an entry in the SM Codex. I don't even know where or how he fits into the organization structure. Doesn't seem like he comes from a standard battle company. Use him as it is? Or use him to proxy as non primaris Lieutenant?
