schoon
Very nice work with the styrene. The walls look a little low for the figures to me though. Dark Bjoern
Maybe a littlebit but if i remove the "bases" i think it would be okay. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/354601-legio-astorum-walks/page/8/#findComment-5496120 Share on other sites
Mandragola
I was thinking the same about the walls. They only protect up to the knees. Possibly some Munitorum effort to save on boots? If removing the bases is difficult you could drill holes instead. Dark Bjoern
You, Sir, are a genius! I think it´s very difficult to remove the bases without damaging the feets. Sherrypie
Nice redoubt, lively bases are just the best. Removing metal bases from the little guys is annoying, but one could clip the sides off and dremel the remaining slot off I guess? schoon
I've tried this both ways - take Mandragola's advice. You will save yourself a lot of sweat and tears. Dark Bjoern
I found some nice "Lion" bits on Scibor. I think they will be an exellent basis for the Ordo Sinister icon. AND we have a store in town that has them in stock. I ordered them online but i will get them at the store on monday. Everything is arranged. AND we have a store in town that has them in stock. I ordered them online but i will get them at the store on monday. Everything is arranged. Not these bits by any chance? They have a few nice bits, but irritatingly the bit I wanted was the one that comes one in a pack of three shields, and I wanted two of them! Rejects of Anvilus
Funny enough I ordered a set of Scibor shields on Friday for the very same reason! I think the ones i have coming are slightly different to yours General Zodd, but will be interesting to see if they end up looking anywhere near as good as yours. Also looking forward to seeing what yours look like Dark Bjoern. Mendi Warrior
Very nice Is the lion's head coming from this set of shoulder pads from Scibor? https://www.sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?art=871#i/conversion_parts/big/lion_shoulderpads.jpg I was wondering if they might allow ordering specific designs instead of all designs from a pack.
