White Scars

Whenever a WHITE SCARS unit with this tactic Advances it moves an extra 2" in addition to the distance rolled (BIKER units with the Turbo-boost ability therefore move an additional 8" when Advancing). In addition, WHITE SCARS units with this tactic can still charge in a turn in which they Fell Back.

Lias Issodon

You can add +1" to all moves, including Advance, Charge and Fall back moves made by friendly RAPTORS INFANTRY units within 6" of Lias Issodon during the Movement phase and Charge phase.

Vanguard Warlord

Master of the Vanguard: Add 1" to the Movement characteristic of friendly CHAPTER units whilst they are within 6" of your Warlord. In addition, add 1 to advance and charge rolls for friendly CHAPTER units whilst they are within 6" of your warlord.

Roboute Guilliman

Master of Battle: You can add 1 to Advance and charge rolls for friendly IMPERIUM units within 12" of Roboute Guilliman, and re-roll hit rolls of 1 and failed Morale tests for these units.

So assuming you can use White Scars Chapter Tactics... if I add it up, nearby infantry gets + 5 Advance (and +1 to the Move portion) - so +6 in total, +2 Regular Move, +3 Charge. The Move portion of an advance is only +1 from the Vanguard trait, as I'm including Lias' +1 in the Advance bonus.

Even if I didn't have Girlyman, that's still a considerable movement bonus to a bunch of Aggressors or Terminators.

Raptors are Raptors, White Scars are White Scars.

The answer is no. ^^

So your saying the only option is Raven Guard Chapter Tactics? I wasn't talking about using the <CHAPTER> keyword for White Scars, just the Chapter Tactic.

You can't use a different Chapters Chapter Tactic without using its keyword. So yeah Raven Guard it is since Raptors are a Raven Guard successor. Keep in mind that it also limits your relic options.

SfPanzer is wrong here.

You can replace <chapter> with anything you want as a keyword. If you don't have a chapter tactic that goes with your keyword you can use any chapter tactic.

Lias Isadon's rules don't say what chapter tactic he has, neither do the Red Scorpions characters.

Since I don't have the rules for Lias Isadon here I just went with what OP wrote. If he writes "friendly RAPTORS INFANTRY unit" for Lias Isadon I assume that's how it's written on his datasheet lol

Lias Issodon, the Red Scorpions characters, Tyberos, Huron and Gabriel Angelos have the specific Chapters referenced in their abilities.

Forge World has stated that you use the Chapter Tactic that most fits the army. Because, despite Carcharodons being Raven Guard successors, ain't no way the Raven Guard Chapter Tactic fit that army

So yes, you can use the White Scars Chapter Tactic for the Raptors.

Technically tou can use whatever base Chapter you want. But would be restricted from using that base Chapters relics or specific warlord traits.

In what you are looking for yes you can be Raptors(White Scars). You just can’t use the White Scars Relic or Warlord Trait, you will have to use the basic ones.
