Ashes of prospero, he was in that. Ill look when I get to a computer

You mean Vigga Deathblow, first hearthegn?

Directly translating from old norse it would be "house freeman" however from a blend of Norse/Celtic it is "house chief". Then we put a 40k twist it probably means "house guard" which would be in charge of the Huskarls which are the special gaurd.

ahh thats the one. I wrote the wrong one down

Geigor Fell-Hand.

It is expected by some, myself included, that Geigor is "Bjorn" before his internment into a Dreadnought, however, if/until GW says so, it is mere speculation currently.

Doesn't Geigor already have separate fluff from bjorn?

I remember reading somewhere that Bjorn was the 2nd fell handed and it was going to keep being passed on but Bjorn refuses to die and still claims the title

the first champion of russ

ulfar, termintor armor with a chain axe, missle pods and a storm bolter? ( blew up a chaos tainted ogryn)

I dream of characters in TDA being allowed to take CML on their backs. Would look amazing and add a lot to my list.

Geigor and Bjorn are separate characters. Bjorn receives the fell hand previously wielded by Geigor along with the fell hand title after losing his arm.

I picked up Abaddon as there was a GW store near my hotel. I am going be honest, it is a bit overwhelming.

De-chaosifying the Warmaster of Chaos is overwhelming? :laugh.:

I think the trick is breaking it down into components, work one area and it'll hopefully lead to inspiration on the next.

I'd start with the belt - pair away the Chaos sigil and repair the area by smoothing over GS and adding SW iconography. I'd then move onto the knees - the angry faces and downward arrows need to go, but keep the trim and the bottom and the lip on top of the knee. Finish each piece before moving on.

The hard part is that chest...

For conversion ideas: I believe @northofsleet (Instagram ) of Iron Sleet (Instagram/Blog) converted the new Abaddon model to a Luna Wolves era Abaddon. It is pretty darn close to what a Space Wolves conversion might look like! Go check it out - I don't know how to add links/photos.

I love Iron Sleet's work but I still feel that model has way more potential to exploit.  The more I look at him the more I would keep and base on the 13th - even down to him standing on a Pretty Boy Ultramarine (hey if they are stupid enough to get killed in battle, then I'm gonna use them to strike a dramatic pose).

It seems that some other wolves had the same idea as I.

The one thing that sticks out so much on this kitbash as the holstered pistol on the left hip (and he's not going to use it in his right claw), it just way too small for this model, this dude is Primaris-Plus-Plus Size, so he needs massive weapons.  So I'd just say watch out for those details when you make your own and take your time, this is an awesome base model to work with.

Damn it I'm going to have to get one now!
