Sorry for late replies, real life always seems to get in the way of the important business of painting miniatures. :D for the red I use Mephiston red, evil sunz scarlet, fire dragon bright and lugganth orange. I wet blend the mephiston red up from black, then edge highlight the rest of it. Gives that nice dark red wine colour and the edge highlights make it look "sharp". Hope it helps! I am nearing the end on this amazing miniature. I still have to finish his staff and belt buckle, and tidy the robes up here and there. But he is done. I am pretty happy with this paint job, and it is a really amazing model.
