Apocrypha Necromundus: Port Mad Dog

Apocrypha Necromundus: House Helmawr

Apocrypha Necromundus: Sump City

Apocrypha Necromundus: Rust Town

Apocrypha Necromundus: Badzones

Apocrypha Necromundus: Heretic's Hole

Apocrypha Necromundus: Hive City

Apocrypha Necromundus: Navis Mortis

Apocrypha Necromundus: The Dust Wall

Apocrypha Necromundus: Lingua Primus, Part 1

Apocrypha Necromundus: Lingua Primus Part 2

Apocrypha Necromundus: The Fist

Nice to see GW going to the effort of mapping out some of the locales and fleshing out some of the personalities that make up Underhive society. (along with reference to the loose alliances between Guilders and the Enforcers - new gangs please!)

I'm hoping the next stop is The Sump - the enormous toxic lake filled with all manner of nasty beasties hunted by gangs on makeshift powered skiffs. Old time fans of the game might remember the story and scenario borrowed from Moby Dick, with a crew of treasure hunters seeking the great white spider and it's valuable eyes...

Apocrypha Necromundus: House Helmawr is now up on the Warhammer Community website.

Read the rags to riches story of Martek Helm'ayr, a man blessed not only with good looks and a sense of rhythm, but also the will and determination to carve himself a honoured place in the history books!

Now, who has the daring to convert and paint Gerontius and his pet Caryatid Blinky?

He looks fairly simple to make out of a commie with a bit of work (particularly on the facial area) I might give him a crack if I can find one of my old pewter commies that I no longer have the arms for. Blinky on the other hand, not sure what I could use as the base for him.

Apocrypha Necromundus: Rust Town is now up on the Warhammer Community website.

My memory might be getting fuzzy, but I don't remember Rust Town, Bald Bryen or Chrono-Crystals being mention in previous editions of 'munda - something new perhaps?

I never got into any of the specialist games when I was younger. Thinks like necromunda, mordehiem(sp) and inquisitor always looked far to complicated and if I'm being honest the darkness of them 'scared' me lol.

Looking back I think that's an awesome achievement from gw. Creating a game system that scares children lol.

Im dipping my toe in the toxic pools of necromunda and I seriously can't wait to start. Just need to Decide which house...

I am gutted I was a bit young and naive for the original. I am however determined to hunt down the old rule books and the likes simply for the joy of the artwork.

I love the gw artwork from the 80's and 90's.

I'd lay down good money to say that it's Mark Gibbons' artwork.

IIRC, the first piece in the article was from Confrontation, but I still can't place the second. (Although it completely fits the setting/style)

Yea its confusing me, I have read everything involving Confrontation/Necromunda from the earliest WD articles up to the Necromunda redux or whatever its called. Ill try contacting John Blanche on Ammobunker and ask if he knows any more about it.

I'm deeply enjoying this series of articles. Some great nuggets of lore and information about the various locales and figures of Necromunda. :biggrin.:

So much this. An excellent adition to the games background - if only I could get it in printed form!

I'm happy they've got Karloth Valois in there.

Bring on the plague zombies!

I'm working on it!
