I present Blue.

One more to go, the Black one, and plenty of time before my December 31st deadline.

I used contrast paint on the blue one.  I started with the shoulders because that was going to be the hardest part to get to look good because of how smooth the surface is.  In person it looks somewhere between a blue flame or a rippling water effect.  I'm sure someone with a lot more skill that I have could make that effect on purpose.  I, on the other hand, just bumbled my way into it.

The Black one will be a Valiant.  Most of the frame metal is done, now I'm working on the armor plates trying to figure out what I'm wanting them to look like, and what colors to use.  Initially I thought about a black to purple fade, but that was before I decided to add the trim work to the knights.

Well I'm back working on this project. Long hiatus due to a busy quarter at work.

Black Knight is almost finished, I just have one arm left to finish painting, and then assemble everything.

However with the quarantine I been working on the display board instead. Here is a little teaser.

I cheated a little on the marble effect. And leaned how to cut tile in the process.

I still need to finish the rim, I think I'll go dark grey / black.

Well better late than never. Finally got back to painting and wrapped up this project.

The board is still in the works, not ready to show it off just yet.

Fine works.

The mask and the color scheme remind me of Bane, the supervillain who broke Batman's back in the comics. Is the Knight Scion administered the combat drug "Venom" during battle? Edited by Bjorn Firewalker

Maybe.  I'm playing Knights as a Crusade force.  I'm currently trying to build up enough RP to "Find" the Black Knight.  The Household Traditions I'm running are Stormstriders and Front-line Fighters.  My Warden got the first level up and happened upon the +2 movement / +1 advance & charge, so now my Warden and Armigers all have 15 movement on these incredibly small tables.  It feels like cheating.

I've only got one match in so far against marines.  Blade guard are scary!  They can chop down a knight like they are competing in lumberjack games.

Actually it will cost 7 RP because I'm making all of the models I can characters.  Gives me more to spend RP on as we progress.
