Karhedron
Get one or two Contemptor Mortis Dreadnoughts. I have seen these mentioned a couple times but I can't seem to find them on Forgeworld. Are they still in production? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/355176-what-to-buy-if-starting-a-new-army/page/2/#findComment-5294892 Share on other sites
Ishagu
It's just any old Contemptor. It just means buying two weapon arms. Two twin Las cannons is best. Gederas
Get one or two Contemptor Mortis Dreadnoughts.I have seen these mentioned a couple times but I can't seem to find them on Forgeworld. Are they still in production? It's a Contemptor with two of the same ranged weapon (except the Conversion beamer, that's exclusive to the Relic Contemptor Dreadnoughts, not the Contemptor Mortis Dreadnought) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/355176-what-to-buy-if-starting-a-new-army/page/2/#findComment-5294916 Share on other sites
BattleBrother446
I am in the exact same boat, OP, and I am hedging my bets and sticking to Primaris for now, with the exception of scouts. Scouts fulfill the unique role of being the cheapest objective holders we have. Plus, they are competitive and their smaller size can be explained by stating that they have not yet received their primaris implants (or whatever). The easiest route to go is to grab the Primaris units you want (they are really cheap its true) and while you build and paint them you can watch for new releases to the line and make decisions re: old marines when you have a better idea of where the line is going.
