Bryan Blaire Posted April 14, 2019 Share Posted April 14, 2019 IMO, a flesh shade wash is good for normal recesses/shadows, and on really deep shadows, I like to use a purple shade on both copper and brass. Bryan Blaire Posted April 15, 2019 Share Posted April 15, 2019 Watered down a lot?I wouldn't personally recommend using water to thin shades - use either a matte medium for non-metallics, or a gloss medium for going over metallics, however, I still use the matte shades in deep recesses on metalics, since they shouldn't be brightly reflective in deep shadow.
