What Heresy characters go on to be Chapter Masters?

Recommended Posts

As the title says. How many of the loyalist characters mentioned or prominently featured, go on to be Chapter Masters of the Adeptus Astartes? A few to start off:

Sigismund - Black Templars

Fafnir Rann - Executioners

Amit - Flesh Tearers

Lucretius Corvo - Novamarines

Demetrius Katafalque of the Imperial Fists 344th Company goes on to found the Excoriators chapter

Arkhas Fal probably becomes the founder of the Carcharodons

Maximus Thane, 22nd Caprain of the Imperial Fists during the Heresy, becomes Chapter Master of the Fists Exemplar during the War of the Beast

Oberdeii, a scout forgotten on Sotha, founds the Scythes of the Emperor during the Third Founding

I was under the impression that Heresy-Thane and Beast-Thane were two different characters, due to Thane during the War of the Beast often referring to Heresy-era wargear as before his time and wishing he walked with the Primarchs

Does Jubal Khan become the first Chapter Master of the White Scars after the Khagans disappearence?

Does Shiban become the first Chapter Master of the Stormlords? Assuming he survives the Heresy?

This might just be idle speculation on my part though.

Are any Scars or RG confirmed as Founders?

Or for that matter, any IH who aren't called Autek Mor?

While not explicitly confirmed, it is heavily implied that Agapito Nev and Gherith Arendi will go on to become Chapter Masters.

Agapito- Revilers. He is noted to give his Isstvan veterans a grey skull icon on their shoulders, and is becoming increasingly vengeful as the Heresy goes on.

Gherith- Black Guard or Raven Guard. He takes on command of the Black Guard during the Heresy, but is also named Legion Master. Could go either way.

Probably all commanders of RG post-Istvaan-reformed-divisons will be their first chapter masters - Raptors, Falcons and Talons.

Yeah I have to assume this, stupid as it is. The other option being the author just made a stupid mistake and didn't think about the time gap when adding the cameo in.
