How much of the Arm do you actually see? I can see myself cutting off the left Hand as well and then just pinning the shield to the arm.

The question is how much of that would be visible from different angles.

Yeah airbrush is such a great tool. I blew through the yellow on one tactical squad in an evening yesterday and I did have some difficulties in locking down the whole process and some technical Problems with my airbrush. Could habe been done way sooner.

It fits pretty well, i cut the hand and part of the forearm off

I have changed bases. I tired about making my own so bought GWs bases. Less fussle and they look good.

Since i want to play with my children i need a traitor-legion and chose alpha legion. So now main focus is X and XX legion. Still keep my 40k-raven Guard tho:

I want the marine in closeup to be sgt, but dont know how to mark him as sgt, any tips?

Maybe just a subtle helmet stripe or half helm colour? Nothing too fancy, doesn't suit the Legion I feel but a stripe could work?

BCC

BCC will try that.

On the workbench tonight:

Are they loyal or traitor? Maybe neither, who knows?

Victory is irrelevant. Vengeance is not.

Looks great!

How about doing a pin wash with oil paint that matches the bases? Like dust effects in black or grey assuming the orange on the floor plates are rust?

In my case I do Mars bases on my AL and I do a oil paint pin wash with burnt sienna to match the red/orange-ish rust coloured Mars ground. Also burnt sienna gives a nice contrast to all the blue/black/gunmetal colours on the models.

Iron tenth. They are preparing for battle. Victory is irrelevant, vengeance is everything.

Looking good, the bases are well done and the blue weathering/damage adds visual interest without dominating the otherwise monochrome scheme of the force.

The weathering on the Immortals' shields is nicely done too.

Thanks alot guys! Yeah i needed a colour to break the darker palette, happy you like it!

The blue is templeguard blue, weathered with typhus corrosion and ryza rust, washed after with a mix of black and Brown wash

Thanks alot guys! They are really easy to do! The meshing is mosquito-nets in plastic that i bought in rolls of like 2 meters each - lots of meshing!

Eight breacher almost done;
