Indefragable
Searched but did not find this anywhere: How do the Rending and Tank Hunters rules interact? If you have both (for whatever reason) then do you get to re-roll your first hits “fishing” for 6’s? Or must you keep the natural 6’s you rolled, but get to re-roll the additional D3 for Armour Penetration granted by Rending? The additional d3 is not a armor penetration role. It's a bonus to it. SkimaskMohawk
An old 7th Ed FAQ put it along the lines of you can reroll the failed penetration roll; either the d6 part that didn't get you your rending, or the entire sequence if your d3 didn't pan out. So basically you needed to reroll the initial dice and hope for a 6 again. But this is has never been touched on for 30k since those FAQs disappeared Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/355563-rending-tank-hunters/#findComment-5303002 Share on other sites
