Blood Angels Redemptor Dread Conversion

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I finished my Redemptor dreadnought conversion. My first dreadnought was an assault cannon packing AoBR dread, followed eventually by a brace of furioso dreads.

So for this one, I wanted to keep a nod to both dreads. I swapped out a few bits for older bits.

Of note, the shoulders, elbow, and wrist are posable. And the gun is held by a tab, it doesn't require glue. So one day I might put the plasma and missile pod on. But I'm hoping for rules for x2 ccw furioso style.

Next I need to do some gap filing, and mold line cleaning. I was too excited to slow down and do that this week.

Not a bad look :smile.: if the small gaps are filled and you finish the rest off I inmagine it will be a very fine looking dread :happy.:

Keep us updated how you paint him

Thank you!

I will definitely keep everyone in the loop. Progress is slow due to family / grad school. But eventually it will be done!

Looks ace

There's an internal painting competition on the B&C happening soon, would you be up for painting it then?

Thank you! Looking through the most recent painting contests, I may need to beef my skills up a bit... but I do intend to compete in the next one. Hopefully. Sadly grad school kept me from being a part of the most recent contest.

Looks good. Now I'm inspired to pick up another Redemptor. May need to get the easy-to-build one to add to my ETL stuff.

You should ! More Dreads is always a good idea!
