Could you Please help me out, I'm stuck for Camouflage colours for my newly brought Shadowspear box set, I of course want to build & paint the Primaris Marines as Space Wolves, but I'm stuck on effect camouflage patterns / Colours - i.e. I don't want the overall colour scheme to be Blue/Grey heavy (for Urban Camouflage) if you know what I mean ?.

Thank Guys.

What is your armor plate color? Grey, blue, other? Is there a board you mostly play on, if so what are it's color pallettes. Or what are you bases designed as?

All this is important, if you play mostly on a grey themed board, and the armor is grey you might want to do a different color to stand out a bit. If you have a snow base, then go white with thin lines if whatever the floral colors are (ie tan, green)

Thanks, Sorry for taking a little while to reply, I'm using : Coat d'arms #150 Shadow Grey , as  my main colour for the mini, the base will be greys with snow,

I did a search on Google and found these :

So I might try with my limited painting skills to d=use these as a guide what do you think ?.

Dave.

I would use a white tone as a base, and then a sponge with light grey to "stamp" a pattern on to it. Maybe some light browns to give it less of a monotone look

This is a good tutorial, but in a larger scale. However you will get the basic concept.
