MaliGn
Hi, How does everyone paint the engine parts of their raptor's packs? I've got a couple of ideas how I want to do mine but thought I'd see what everyone else was doing. Surreal Cruelty
If by engine parts, you are talking about the intake, I usually just leave them metal with a dark wash of some kind. The exhaust I usually paint similar to plasma glow or the way you did your exhaust on your Predator. I'd show an example but my painting log disappeared into the warp...going to have to track it down. MadGreek
I try and do all my jump thrust in shades of blue and white. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/355936-raptor-jump-pack-engines/#findComment-5314398 Share on other sites
MaliGn
Yeah, I was wondering about the intakes, they look like they should be jet engines, this would mean that you wouldn't see the blades if the engine was lit, so there wouldn't be a glow from the exhaust either.. hmm suspension of disbelief required methinks... May also paint a swirl on the hub similar to planes.
