Token
Is it correct that you need to role a 9 or better when charging after "deepstriking"? Is 8 enough? What about if you charge an enemy behind a barricade, barricades can be fought through 2" between? Please excuse grammar, spelling mistakes and such. Panzer
You need to be more than 9" away so minimum 9.1". To get into melee you need to be within 1". 9.1" - 1" = 8.1 So yes you need to roll at least a 9 because you can't roll fractions. You can charge enemies behind a barricade just fine as charges don't require line of sight, however it would increase your charge distance if you can't get within 1" with the usual rolled 9. Barricades don't magically increase the range of your melee attacks. Jolemai
... unless they have a special rule such as the Aegis Defence Line.
