Zhiv
Does anyone have an off-black they could recommend? Ideally one that covers well, works when painted on matt black and can be shaded with Nuln oil. Magos Takatus
These are my new toys. https://scale75.com/en/scalecolor-range/179-black-and-white-paint-set.html In particular I like the Graphene Grey. It's got a blue tint to it, it's pretty much a slightly darker version of the GW paint Dark Reaper. There is also a Petrolium Grey and a flat black in that set. I'm not sure if those are what you're after, but hopefully they should be useful. Forge World used to do a really nice colour called Corvus Black but that sadly got the chop recently. Fajita Fan
I'm experimenting with Stegadon Scale Green then washing that black, it comes out blue-ish black that can be highlighted with blue. Guest
Vallejo tyre black, panzer dark grey, USAF dark grey could be options. Are you looking for a certain color tint such as green, blue, red? Stoic Raptor
Privateer's Coal Black is good. Citadel's Dark Reaper works nicely with a couple coats of Nuln Oil. jkoczan42
Privateer's Coal Black is good. Citadel's Dark Reaper works nicely with a couple coats of Nuln Oil. I second this. Coal Black is a go to color of mine for anytime I want a cool black highlight that isn't just grey. The blue and green tones to it work nicely for a lot of different applications. Magos Takatus
Well, I mentioned the FW paint, it looks like it's going to be re-released. That's fortunate timing. Razblood
VMC black grey, VMC German Grey, AP Necromancer Cloak, P3 coal black or VGC extra opaque charcoal. All are good, coal black has a slight green tint to it, but all the others are more grey tinted.
