Nice. That's looks like one hell of a painting project.

Looks like they all went Martyred Lady for the paint job. Would have done each girl in the colour on a different order myself.

What's the size of that base? 60mm?

I agree. I will be painting each Sister in the relevant colors of their Order.

The model comes with Power Sword, Rod of Office, and a Boltweapon under the folds of her cloak on her back. I say weapon because of the way the sprue is laid out and model is put together I can't tell if it is supposed to be a Pistol or gun. I'm gonna assume gun. If that is the case, the model is accurate.

Base: Bolt Pistol and Chainsword.

Option A: Exchange above for Boltgun, Power Sword, Rod of Office. The Rod is not optional.

Option B: Exchange Bolt Pistol for either: Condemnor Boltgun, Pistol list weapon.

Option C: Exchange chainsword for either: Power Sword, Blessed Blade.

Option D: If it is equipped with a Chainsword, it can have either a brazier or null rod.

So... I guess my old combi-flamer Canoness model now goes into retirement :(

I really like the Triumph model.  I think the rules are a little weak in the current version of 40k, but that model is simply... Adepta Sororitas through and through.

Name one other faction that would bring a sarcophagus to a fight, and lug the darn thing around... and then act like it is perfectly normal and anyone who says otherwise should be torched into agreeing (or death, preferably death in fact).

The Triumph model is quite the piece of eye candy! Will be a bit of work to do but definitely worth it. It looks pretty much how I expected and hoped it would so I'm keen to get my hands on it so I can start painting. It would take pride of place as the centrepiece model of any army :)

That depends on how Legends is actually set up. If it's set up so things like "Librarian on a bike" isn't legal but weapon options still are, you can still play those models in tournaments. If it's set up so weapon options are no longer available as well, unless your local meta/opponent requires you to play non-Legends OR you're playing in a tournament, then you can still field her. If I bother to play any more 8th, I know I will because I'm sure as hell not converting all my power mauls/storm bolters/combi weapons/eviscerators/etc. from metal models to make them non-Legends legal.

So I was going thru my bits box last night and found a gem. A combi-plasma gun, metal. Ran to my dex and wow, now I'll make a mold and cast some for my superiors. Just glad they can take them.

Now my question is what is the best load out for the canoness?

In my first game last weekend the varity and usefulness of the new set of Soroitas stratgems was really evident so I have been looking for methods of gaining command points and one of the means I found was, intesestingly enough, an Ordo Xenos inquisitor. Spend 1 CP on the Stratagem Inquisitorial mandate and give him the Ordo Xenos only Warlord Trait Esoteric Lore: each time your opponent uses a Stratagem roll a die and on a 5+ you gain a CP. Don't forget that spending a CP to reroll a die is a Stratagem ;)

I fielded a Brigade in that game and I was wishing for more CP and I'm pretty certain I did not use more than two for rerolls; I was popping strats and bringing the hurt.

Since a lone Inquisitor won't interfere with convictions etc. I am going to take one of these in my next game. I want to see if this idea works, and if so, how well it works.

What role do you want her in? She's flexible enough to do different things.

 & cheep enough...

ie you can kit a canoness out as a cruise missile to go after a single lynch pin character... and you not to be worried if she gets splattered.

I've popped CrusherJoe a message earlier today to see if he was working on the Adepta Sororitas entry for BattleScribe but have not received a response.  I started working on it a bit earlier today, and am probably 90% through the updates now, but then have to add the few new units, new relics, and order specific warlord traits.

Awesome! I really appreciate this!

I wish I could help - I'm technical minded enough to get involved but I don't think you all probably have the time to get someone up to speed.
