hermanista
So it doesnt have to be a free blade It can choose a household, but cant use its trait. It can use the associated stratagem and relic/warlord traits though Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/356253-knights-question/#findComment-5322619 Share on other sites

clanfield
no your ether a freeblade or a household knight think of freeblades as solo mercs as for source use codex: imperial knights for the household rules and expanded bits the ad mech codex has the basic knights from before the codex launched, also if you want chaos align knights there codex is coming out in the next few months Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/356253-knights-question/#findComment-5322627 Share on other sites
