MasterDeath
As I read the entry for Possessed I noticed "Stealth" as a possible specialisation. At first I assumed that this was a typo and "Scout" was meant, as "Stealth" is a Commander Spec. Then I saw that the Infiltra(i)tors have the option both "Scout" and "Stealth", so the typo theory was out the window. On a second read, there is no incompatibility between the basic specs and the specs out of "Commanders". So interesting options ahead. What do you think of the "Stealth" spec on normal troopers? To me it seems more useful than on a Commander model. Chaos could push two Possessed (Veteran and Stealth) up the table turn one for example. Panzer
To be completely honest, I had to look up Stealth because I pretty much ignored most of the Commander Supplement. A bit silly that they didn't reprint it in Elites. Anyway, now that I looked it up it seems to be pretty nice on Suppressors. They can move 6" and still count as readied and when level 2 and within 2" they can count as obscured for just 1CP (or for free when within 1" when taking the Skulker trait at level 2 which they probably should because they won't have any problem climbing anyway) which is something they would usually struggle with due their huge profile. For just level 1 models it seems decent as well though. Too bad T'au Stealth Suits don't have access to it but they probably won't change older datasheets unfortunately. Apostle of the 30th Host
Only problem is, possessed don’t have any ranged weapons. So the basic stealth trait bonus is a waste. In campaigns where they level, sure, some of the other stuff is decent. But at base level one it seems like a waste compared to something else like combat, veteran or zealot.
