All Primaris Fists - taking objectives?

I'm still working on my all Primaris Imperial Fists. So far I have the contents of Dark Imperium, Shadowspear, and the easy to build Redemptor and Aggressors.

I have decent sized Blood Angel, Dark Eldar and Tyranid armies and my play style has been aggressive and mobile. Unfortunately, this tends to annoy my regular opponents so I'm trying for something slower and more defensive this time. However, I am still going to need some mobility in the army to go and get objectives - we play a lot of Maelstrom of War games so this is often key.

Any suggestions beyond Inceptors? Are Auto Bolt Rife Intercessors or Assault Plasma Incinerator Hellblasters any good for this role?

Or should I be looking toward a Repulsor?

Thanks for any replies!

I don't think the auto weapon options are the best choice here. Repulsors solve a lot of problems for Primaris in very specific ways (long range AT, or lots of horde clearing) but they really need redundancy and some choices that confuse target priority, which means you end up going all in with them.

Some fraters here have had great success with 5 man Reiver squads carrying carbines dropping in turns 2 and 3 wherever needed. For 100 points you get 10 3+ Sv wounds wherever you want.

I don´t like auto weapons also. I find far more useful bolt rifles and common plasma incinerators. For the antitank pourpose I would suggest venrable dreads with twin las cannons and missile launchers for a cheap and durable long range support. I find primarines struggling very hard against high toughnes objectives, while handling easily with light infantry.

That's very true, but it also depends on your local meta.

My local meta loves to ape ITC winning lists from top tables. Thankfully, despite the lists being top tier, the players haven't had a chance for enough reps to get to grips with how the list plays, not to mention nobody in this group (myself included) is a tactical genius. There's a reason the same people keep winning those tournaments, and it sure isn't always just the list they bring.

Anyway, one of the patterns you'll notice with these ITC winning lists is the lack of long range AT. That's largely because the truly big armoured threats like Knights are running an invuln, so weight of fire is often far more efficient alongside high damage melee options. Primaris have few ways to acquire the latter, but can definitely make do with the former. Every other armoured threat can be pretty handily resolved with weapons like Plasma. You'll often never see melta or even lascannons in these lists.

But here's a great point - if you need long range AT for your army, and you're trying to find ways to push objectives, then a couple Repulsors will do you well. Neonmole over in the Blood Angels side of the board has been having some great success running a triple Repulsor list with two Redemptors for armour saturation.

I havent had a chance to finish building and take it for a spin but for crimson fists I plan to have a razorback with kantor and sternguard supporting the rest of my primaris army. AP-2 shooting and 3 attacks each in combat plus power fists. 2x Redemptors with troop support for backfield objectives. Intercessors in a repulsor to go along with the razorback.

Again I havent had a chance to play it, but maybe can give some ideas.
