Karhedron
Normally I buy my GW toys from a local independent games store. 20% off RRP and it supports the local economy. But I got an Amazon voucher as a gift and GW has just announced the new Apocalypse boxes so I am wondering if anyone has any advice for particularly good (or bad) retailers who sell on Amazon. Someone who can reliably honour a pre-order for a limited edition release would be perfect. Any advice and suggestions welcome. Toomanyprojects
Had a few bits and pieces from amazon. Recommend that you read the descriptions very carefully to be certain of what you are getting and don’t be afraid to send it all back if you don’t get what you paid for. Pre ordering stuff is a minefield to be honest. Some people don’t stop taking pre-orders when they have no more stock so you’ll end up not getting what you wanted because it’s sold out everywhere else by the time they tell you, but I’ve also had times when I’ve had a new box set in my hands before release day. Stuff this new I think will be okay, it won’t have had time to get broken yet :) For the apocalypse box sets, I’m assuming they will be over £100.01 and that the voucher doesn’t cover it all. Pay the balance with a credit card, so that I’m the event that you get junk and amazon isn’t helpful you can go to your bank under the consumer credit act :) Hope that’s been helpful :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/356669-buying-40k-on-amazon-in-the-uk/#findComment-5333388 Share on other sites
