Zebulon gets into ‘Munda

The problem I have is that I am struggling to decide a colour scheme for my deadly ladies. That, and I’m understandably distracted by the ETL!

I went back to looking at Fallout New Vegas Fiends, but they aren’t as colourful as I recalled; I could go for a quite dark and neutral costume and then bring wild colour for the hairdos I guess.

I have got a little further with possible names for my Gangers; here’s the list so far (subject to change/improvement, I’ve got up to 11):

Deff Nell

Anna Malicious

Chloe Choker Chloe Carnage

Krystal Metz

Melissa Menace Yasmin Savage

Deuce Foxx (she doesn’t give)

Tuesday Slaughter

Karen Agar Perdita Rapine

Nyx Nightshade

Sanguine Skye

Angel Tears?

Some of these are better than others, as you can see. I either want them to be obvious puns or just to sound cool. Suggestions are welcome!

I have no suggestions, but might steal a few of those names isntead! :teehee:

And I can feel your paint about deciding on a colour scheme...

You’re welcome to any of them except Nell and Anna! :p not that I have copyright... can see why GW get all precious about IP now...

Yeah, the more I think about it a fairly restrained set of outfits is more appropriate to what I’m trying to achieve than some kind of Slaaneshi glam-rock look! The colour will come in the form of the crazy hairdos :D also may try to do some tattoos, not easy without a microscope though haha

I wouldn’t worry too much about that echo Zebulon. The Underhive is a big place. That and this sub-forum doesn’t get a huge amount of traffic.

Nice to see someone else enjoying Necromunda. I’ve recently picked up the Goliaths from my starter set, with the idea of running another campaign in the Autumn.

With regards to your concept pieces, the colour choice looks good. One thing I would suggest (if you weren’t planning to already) is to add some contrast (note not Contrast paint) to your models. An all over wash with Agrax Earthshade is a quick and easy way to add depth to a paint scheme.

Keep up the enthusiasm. Looking forward to seeing some more from you.

Dallo

Thanks for the reply, Dallo! Yes I have some Agrax and will use it; I do fear overwhelming them with it but to be fair most of the washes always run off anyway I find.

Anna Malicious is now mostly done (Champion with Chem Thrower) so expect a pic of her soon!

The model is well-painted, but is her name intended to invoke "crystal meth"?

Thank you - I am getting a little better slowly it seems!

Yes, it’s a pun - like Deff Nell. I admit it may be in questionable taste!

Edit: The thinking was also that House Escher are doyennes of the chem trade, so it fits. Another Juve incoming shortly - Chloe Carnage B)

Lastly, the piece de la resistance...

Deff Nell!

Now that the starting gang are all basically painted, it’s time to give them some washes and basing!

Summary of gang roster:

Deff Nell

- [x] Champion with Chem-thrower, Chem-Synth.

Anna Malicious

- [x] Champion with Laspistol, Stiletto Sword

Sanguine Skye

- [x] Ganger with Lasgun.

Deuce Foxx

Nyx Nightshade

- [x] Ganger with Lasgun & stiletto knife.

Perdita Rapine

Krystal Metz

Tuesday Slaughter

Yasmin Savage

Remember that you must have as many gangers as juves chaps and leader

Ah, so it has to be (for example) 5 gangers and 5 everything else?

That’s annoying as I thought I’d cracked the maths! Some re-bashing of models lies ahead then... 1000 credits is quite limiting, 1250 would be much better/easier to work to
