Advice on getting a few AM tanks

So I'm looking at getting some AM tanks and was wondering on peoples thoughts on what I'm thinking of. My detachment is going to be Cadian and I have company commanders and about 60 cadian troops so they're not a problem. Basilisks and HWM teams are on the list but not right now.

 

1 x Knight Commander Pask, Executioner, Plasma Cannon & Lascannon

1 x Tank Commander, Leman Russ Cannon

2 x Tank Commander, Punisher & Heavy Bolters

1 x Leman Russ Tank, Cannon

2 x Hellhound

2 x Wyvern

1 x Manticore

Are you going to be magnetising?

Yea I'll magnetise as much as I can for obvious reasons but those are the main loadouts I'm thinking of.

With cadian doctrine, basilisks are better than manticores. If you're playing catachan manticores are better than basilisks. Wyverns are best with catachan. If you're running Cadians, I'd use 3 mortar squads instead. That gets you 9D6 shots for only 99 points. A cadian mortar squad sitting and with take aim will get to reroll all failed hits. If your officer has laurels of command, you stand a good chance of getting them to reroll 1s to wound as well. This all comes down to getting more kills with your mortars.

The Astra Militarum Spearhead Detachment is actually pretty good value, usually in stock in stores rather than online as it's so popular.

 

Magnetise everything you can and then it doesn't matter what army you're fighting, you can just swap the weapons around to be anti horde or anti elite.
