Azezel
NAME: Sarasvati Luceo. RANK: Canoness Superior, Order of Glory Undimmed, Convent Prioris, Adepta Sororitas. AGE: Unknown, approximately 80 years, standard, Physically much younger due to juvenat treatments. HOMEWORLD: N/A. Raised, Schola Progenium Hortus Primus, Ultima Segmentum. CURRENT LOCATION: St. Ruth's convent, Sri Avaris, Avaris, Ultima Segmentum/Seconded troopship All Creation. http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q101/MCP1/Sar21.jpg The Order of glory Undimmed is very much as one would imagine from their exuberant moniker. St. Ruth's, the convent where they make their home is more parts art gallery and museum than cloister or armoury – a feeling reinforced by the Sisters therein, clad in gold armour more ornamented almost than some cathedrals. So lavish is it all that in the Order's convent, in their armour and their equipment no whim or desire artist or artisan seems to have been frustrated. For all that, though, the Order's Canoness is positively ascetic - she is a cold, hugely intelligent woman. One who weighs all things to a nicety and always has a plan B. A theologian as much as a warrior (how else is one to identify the subtle heterodoxies which presage true heresy within the Ministorum itself?). There is scarcely a cleric on Avaris who has not received long correspondences from her pen – genuinely insightful, citing the most obscure and obtuse scriptures, and always enlightening, if unsolicited. Certainly this is Sarasvati's greatest flaw, this inability to delegate or to leave well alone. Canoness Sarasvati is not the head of the Ministorum on Avaris, but the common citizens could certainly be forgiven for thinking that she is. Every holiday her voice is heard as even those who have attended their local services will tune in to listen to Canoness Luceo's 'Sermon from St. Ruth's', broadcast around the world. The current Archbishop of Avaris is almost unknown outside of the Ecclesiarchy, and even he defers to Sarasvati's knowledge of canon law and subtleties of the creed. Ascetic or not, Sarasvati's wargear is as ornamented, as extravagant and as inspiring as any – it must be, this is the reason for which the Order was founded. She wears an ancient harness of artificer armour forged on Mars itself, inlaid with prayers of hatred, devotional scenes and precious stones. Her armour's jump-capability depends on anti-gravity, rather than crude rockets or bulky turbines, and is guided by neuro-linked and razor-edged wings. She wields an Inferno pistol and an eviscerator – the Million Voices – set with mother-of-pearl and engravings of the saints.
